Pin Traveler

A Must Have New Travel App

If you’re anything like me, you love tracking trips.

Pushing pins on maps of all the places you’ve been, keeping score of how many U.S. National Parks and states you’ve explored on scratch off wall posters and collecting stickers on a water bottle.  The problem is, your water bottle will likely be replaced over the years, the scratch off posters may not exactly match your home décor and wall maps are just plain bulky.

This is why I’m loving this new app I found called Pin Traveler. To be honest, I am not really even sure if it’s new, but it’s new to me and I am digging it.  It’s a travel tracker and world travel map app.

I can not only put “pins” in all the places I’ve seen, but I can collect flags from all the countries I’ve been to, read blogs about things to see and do, and check my travel stats. I can even upload photos and comments, and interact with friends, see where they’ve been, get more travel tips and ideas.

Another fun feature - you can create and save all of your trip itineraries and revise them while you’re on the go as plans change so later, when you’re feeling nostalgic, you can look back on them and reminisce. Perhaps you will want to repeat the trip again 20 years from now or share it with a friend. Heck, maybe your great grandkids will want to follow your footsteps one day.

It even has a wish list so you can keep that long bucket list handy and mark off places as you wander.

The best part - it’s free to download with a pretty inexpensive upgrade that’s optional.
